politician vs teachers vs students
Apparently the buzz in twitter among the MFLers is what does Nick Clegg thinks about Foreign Languages in the school. My thought is that whoever you are - teacher or politician- whatever your views are they must reflect the views of modern foreign languages in the work place and society as a whole. If not there’s no way you’re going to convince a group of teenagers to learn a language, and you all know what I mean.
So say… if it’s not strange to find information in various languages when you go to your NHS surgery, why are there still people that need to convinced that a second language is an advantage?
OK, this though should be developed, but it’s going to sit here for a while at least waiting for me to finish that job application that has me so nervous.
